This Has Got To Be The Worst Transition In The History of Presidential Transitions

President Obama is not getting a great start, is he?

So far, he's had three appointees turn out to be tax cheats (one of those tax cheats still got confirmed), leading me to believe that Democrats are more than happy to get us to pay our taxes but have issues with paying their own. Well, what do you expect if you take your nominees from the Democratic party these days?

Kentucky has had a major ice storm. No appearance of Obama to survey the damage, and no FEMA assistance sent down there, either (although they seem to be doing rather well for themselves at this point). Does that mean Obama hates white people?

The "stimulus" bill passed through the House with no Republicans signing on to the pork-filled bill. Now the Senate are working on trimming the fat for presentation. And there are reports of Obama being at odds with Pelosi in the House.

Reports of his arrogance have been popping up on various right wing blogs and other news sources (but mostly on right wing blogs) -- his telling the Republicans "I won. I trump you on that."; keeping the Oval Office at over 80 degres while lecturing the rest of us on where we should keep our thermostats; serving wagyu beef, which goes for $100 a serving, at a cocktail party to celebrate the "stimulus" bill passing through the house; not playing "Hail to the Chief."

And he's only been president for two weeks! Wow! I don't even remember Bush having this bad a start.
