For this clip (language warning)
It's the British version of "The View," and it looks like the women weren't expecting that from her. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Rivers was asked to leave during a commercial break after making the comment. Her excuse? She thought there was a time delay where they could bleep it out.
I don't know what the broadcast standards are in England -- when my husband downloads episodes of the UK version of "The Apprentice," the language is uncensored. Plus I know that when the American version of "Hell's Kitchen" is shown over there they don't bleep, either.
But I have no real comment on this other than it can happen to anyone when you are used to your own country's broadcast standards. Since the Super Bowl and an incident involving Bono and an awards show where he used the f-word, most live shows are tape-delayed so that language can be bleeped out.
